Operating Principle
The ViscoLab 4100 contains a piston-style electromagnetic sensor
and RTD that provide continuous viscosity, temperature and temperature
compensated viscosity (TCV) readings.
Measurements can be made in any of thirteen 20:1 viscosity
ranges and temperature can be displayed in °C or °F.
The liquid circulating jacket permits operation from -40°C
to 110°C. Multiple operating ranges and product setups can
be precalibrated.
Data can be output to a PC, via the RS232 serial port for tracking,
storage or graphical display. The electronics allow the user
to define temperature and viscosity display units, data averaging
interval, density and much more. The electronics also provides
digital readings, as well as, statistics on sample stability
that allow greater repeatability between tests and operators.
