 Geo Space's Sea Array 3 is a
fully gimballed unit that provides precise geophone orientation control in deep
water operations. It can be used with all major ocean bottom cable systems.
This light weight, slim line package maintains three mutually perpendicular
geophones in relative orientation sufficient to permit true 3-component seismic
data acquisition, making it ideal for both 3-D and 4-D applications.
- The Sea Array 3 permits choice
of three field-proven geophone models (GS-20DX, GS-30CT, GS-32CT), one vertical
and two horizontal, with full rotation of all axes. The fluid filled unit
maximizes both damping and coupling. Precision multiple O-ring seals and full
water blocked wires assure integrity of the package in ocean bottom
service.
