MoistureFlow greatly simplifies the problem of on-line moisture measurement in a real plant situation.
Essentially consisting of just two components, a sensor and a signal processor, installation of the system is easy. The sensor is mounted in the heart of the flowing material, thus avoiding any of the anomalies of a surface measurement; the HP550 Signal Processor can be positioned up to 100 metres away at a convenient location. All instruments are ruggedly constructed to withstand the rigours of prolonged use in the field.
Once installed, all that is required is a 12 - 24 volt supply and the instrument is ready to run.
A digital display of live moisture and temperature is provided at the HP550. There is also a fully programmable analogue output which can be used to record moisture or as a signal to control an item of plant.
The system handles up to 5 different materials, and has a feature known as 'AutoCal' for quick calibration of new materials. On-line diagnostics ensure that the equipment runs at its best, and alarms if a fault is detected.
