Digital Pressure Indicator Piccolo with "Peak" Hold Measurements

The Piccolo incorporates the KELLER piezoresistive pressure transducer noted for its stability, high accuracy and reliability. It is well suited for both static and dynamic applications and is capable of capturing transient pressure pulses with durations of only micro-seconds. Static Measurements The analog signals of the static measurements digitized three times per second. The total accuracy is <0,5% max., with an option of 0,2% by sensor selection. The stability is less than 0,1% (typical), even after years of operation. Peak Value Measurements In the Peak Mode the sensor signal for the increasing pressure cycle is fed into a diode / capacitor circuit. The diode prevents capacitor discharge when the pressure decreases again. Thus very rapid peaks can be measured.
