Description NDC Infrared Engineering Pro.Net Process Network computing is a new system architecture which combines state-of-the-art
sensor technology with truly open industry standard hardware, software and networking capabilities. NDC Infrared Pro.Net employs several advanced technologies to benefit users including the Windows NT operating system, TCP/IP
networking and the JAVA programming language. The Pro.Net System allows control of up to six synchronized scanning frames and up to 18 sensors on a single process line. A fully configurable touchscreen interface ensures ease-of-use
and maximum flexibility. Pro.Net enables users to configure multiple displays, setup and troubleshoot remotely, view multiple process lines from a centralized workstation, and access online video help. Pro.Net includes an
industrialized computer subsystem and uses industry standard hardware. NDC Infrared Pro.Net may be purchased as a complete system or as an update to existing Features

Data Access NDC Infrared Pro.Net includes an open OLE/DB compliant object database. Information generated by the system is available to authorized users anywhere in the plant or on the corporate intranet. TCP/IP protocols enable remote viewing, setup, tuning, maintenance and real-time help from any display terminal, as well as providing an interface to other plant automation or SCADA Systems. Thousands of third party software packages can "plug & play" with Pro.Net Configurations The Pro.Net system can control up to six scanning frames and up to 18 sensors on a single process line. Multiple scanner configurations are generally used for coating applications where the scanners must be synchronized for exact same spot measurement. Sensors from several different manufacturers can easily interface to the Pro.Net system. Additional operator workstations can be added wherever needed and can access and control any line in the plant. Sensor Technology NDC specializes in the development and application of sensors that are unique in the marketplace, characterized by their small size, extremely small radioactive sources, and
exceptional stability.
Scanning Frames NDC offers a wide variety of sensor mounting assemblies and scanning frames appropriate for the sensor application:
Further information may be found on specific data sheets for each scanning frame. Industry Standards
Hardware and Software The industrial measurement and control server provides true real-time mission critical operation of the sensors and scanning frames. All information is nonvolatile in PROM/FLASH and in battery backed CMOS RAM, assuring absolutely reliable, real-time results. The line server and workstations are industry standard, Intel based, Windows NT machines, which run the Pro.Net software, store and access the database, and archive data such as recipes and reports. The 21" touchscreen monitor provides a fully configurable interface that allows the user to work with the information in any way necessary.Technical Specifications for Pro.Net |
