Description The NDC Infrared Engineering Blown Film Rotary and Bubble Tracking System are designed to meet the needs of blown film
producers that require full profile information on lines that do not rotate or oscillate. The system can also be used to enhance automatic control on lines with slow die/frame movement.
The rotary is a motorized ring and frame assembly designed to oscillate the NDC Infrared Engineering Gamma Backscatter Gauge
a full 360° around a blown film bubble. Rotation speed is selectable over a wide range. The Bubble Tracking System allows the NDC Infrared Engineering gamma backscatter probe to "float" with the bubble to accommodate
bubble movement and eccentricity. The system is programmable to locate the bubble on startup, and to automatically retract if the bubble is lost.
The Model 40 allows for a maximum 40 inch (1000 mm) diameter bubble while the Model 70 can accommodate up to 70 inch (1800 mm) diameter Design and Construction
