Cables and Adapters

NDT  offers cables and adapters for connection of OPTIMA and NOVA transducers to a variety of ultrasonic instruments and other electronic components. Coupled with the variety of standard and optional transducer connectors offered in this catalog, low-cost cables and adapters provide simple, reliable interconnections with existing instrumentation.






Angle Reflectors and Search Tubes

NDT  offers angle adapters and search tubes that, when combined with appropriate transducers and adapters, greatly extend the versatility of immersion scanning systems.



DSC

NDT  offers a complete selection of standard and custom Ultrasonic Reference Standards (also referred to as test blocks or calibration blocks). Manufactured to exacting tolerances, all Reference Standards are made from metal stocks that have been ultrasonically inspected prior to fabrication. Finished test blocks are inspected in accordance with MIL-1-45208 and with electronic instruments calibrated in accordance with MIL-C-45662 which requires traceability to NIST (formerly National Bureau of Standards).

IIW TYPE 2

Contains most of the features of the IIW TYPE I block, with the addition of a part-through 2.00 inches radius centered at the same place as the 4.00 inches radius. Has three additional side-drilled holes, 3/64 inch, 5/64 inch and 8/64 inch diameter.



NAVSHIPS

Used for distance/amplitude correction in accordance with NAVSHIPS 0900-006-3010 Section 6. Overall size is 3.00 inches x 12.00 inches x 1.25 inches with six 3/64-inch-diameter side-drilled holes at metal path distances ranging from 0.25 inch to 2.75 inches.



MINI IIW-TYPE

Fundamentally a half-size IIW Block, but weighing only about one-fourth as much. Has co-centered 2.00 inches and 1.00 inch radii, and a variety of milled surfaces to extend the usefulness of this block for calibrating both longitudinal and shear wave setups. The block is 1.00 inch thick with a 1.00-inch-diameter hole and three side-drilled holes 3/64, 5/64 and 8/64 inch in diameter. Includes engraved beam angle markers.
