Sage
The SAGE
range of pipe weld inspection manipulators were designed for
the automatic ultrasonic inspection of pipe and nozzle welds
They include the manipulator, mounting ring, circumferential
and axial drive mechanics, transducer holders, all cabling and
couplant service including a 12 metre umbilical.
The Belt
Pipe Scanner is a girth weld scanner, suitable for use on a
wide range of pipe diameters. As the scanner is held onto the
pipe using an industry standard toothed drive belt it can be
used on non magnetic pipes. It is capable of scanning the full
360?of a circumferential weld and it is available in either
a manual or semi-automatic version.
Magman
Magman
is a versatile, robust magnetic scanner which carries six ultrasonic
probes. It was designed specifically for manual operation and
is well proven in the field.
The Phoenix
Motorised Pipe Weld Scanner was produced to meet the demand
for a small pipe scanner to carry out the inspection of circumferential
welds at a bend.
The Phoenix
Pipeline Automatic Scanning System (PASS) has been designed
to carry out automated inspection of overland pipe line girth
welds.
The TORUS
system has been designed to carry out automated weld inspection
to the highest standards of the Nuclear Industry and to cope
with the rigorous conditions to be found in the fabrication
yards of the Offshore Industry.
Mag-Scan
opens up new possibilities in automatic scanning. Ultra compact
yet with powerful magnetic wheels, it can scan either automatically
or manually on a flat or curved surface.
SPIDER
is a new concept in inspection scanning. Purpose designed using
modular construction principles, the scanner constitutes one
of the most versatile and cost effective solutions to the problem
of accurate controlled scan motion.
Caliper
A pocket-size
device which allows for quick and easy TOFD inspections with
a permanent record of the results is fast becoming a best seller
for UK manufacturer Phoenix.
The Phoenix
Manual Curved Bed X-Y Scanner when used with any suitable display
system enables the operator to obtain such a permanent record
when either corrosion mapping or carrying out weld inspection.
The AXIS
pipe scanner has been developed to carry out automated ultrasonic
inspection of Autogenous and Orbital T.I.G. welds in ASTM A
182 316H stainless steel tubing.
The Saddle
Weld Inspection System (SWIS) simulates the manual operators
dexterity in rotating the probe whilst scanning around a nozzle.
The EPSOM
Manipulator was designed originally to carry out automated inspection
of a critical weld on the Economiser on an A.G.R. Power Station.
TRAKIT
is a unique automated NDT inspection manipulator. It was originally
developed to inspect welds on boilers at the Sizewell A nuclear
power station.
