QUALITY MATERIAL INSPECTION, INC.
The company employs 20 specialists, experienced in nondestructive testing (NDT) and technique development, skilled in mechanical, electrical and software engineering and manufacturing. We have our own machine shop, transducer manufacturing and testing lab, and a large ultrasonic and eddy current testing facility. We have built custom made and turnkey automated scanning systems for customers world wide. A new line of digital ultrasonic flaw detectors and thickness gauges has been added to our products.
Our level I, II and III ultrasonic and eddy current certified inspectors provide NDT services in-house as well as at the customer's site, which includes technique evaluation and developing test procedures.
QMI has over 30 years of experience in technique evaluation and testing of various materials and structures, including advanced polymer, ceramic and metal composite materials, foam-filled structures, honeycomb, and thick concrete. Our experts have tested nuclear submarines, reactors, pumps, torpedo tubes, steam generators, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, advanced military aircraft, missiles and satellites. The company is called worldwide for the most critical NDT tasks. Leading aerospace companies and their subcontractors are among our customers. One of our strongest achievement is the developement of the unique AIRSCAN?/a> air-coupled ultrasonic inspection method and instrumentation. Through associations with specialized companies and institutions, QMI assures access to the latest NDT technologies.
