The Silent Partner proximity logger is a compact self contained activity logger with an internal magnetic field sensor. It is called a proximity logger because it only needs to be close to a magnetic field to operate. It is ideal in situations where the direct connection of wires is unsafe or impractical.

The Silent Partner clamp-on activity logger is a compact, self -contained activity logger that uses an integral split-core clamp-on current sensor. The clamp-on sensor is useful in situations where several wires or field sources make it difficult for a proximity logger to discriminate one field source from another.
Another great feature of this logger is its sensitivity control. It allows you to vary the field strength required to cause an ON state. This feature is especially handy if you have a piece of equipment (like a motor) that idles at a nominal current, then draws much more under load. Using the sensitivity control, you can adjust the logger so that it does not register ON with the idle current, but registers ON when the load is applied.
