Desk Top Model Moisture Tester AN-800

The AN-800 Grain Tester is capable of measuring
moisture?content and protein in grains.
The AN-800 performs?measurements using
a near-infrared transmittance method in?which samples
are illuminated with different wavelengths of?light ranging
between 918nm and 1045nm.
Compositions are calculated based on the transmittance
of?this light. Preprocessing of samples, such as husking
and?grinding, etc., are not necessary with the AN-800.
Measurements are started by simply loading a sample into
the sample case.  This allows for quick, simple and
nondestructive composition analysis.
Compared to the infrared reflectivity measurement method,
the near-infrared transmittance method employed by
the AN-800?is relatively little affected by the shape or
color of the sample and?thus provides excellent measurement
characteristics.
The AN-800 performs repeated measurements at multiple
locations across a sample in a short period of time and then
displays the processed results of these measurements.
Measurement data can also be printed out on an optional
printer or transmitted to a personal computer.
