Temperature Calibrator

The TC1200 temperature calibrator is a compact and portable unit, which is just as suitable for use on site as in the laboratory. Temperature range is from 150°C to + 1200°C. Accuracy ± 0.3°C, stability ± 0.5°C.

TC1200 is a tube furnace with a specially profiled heater to give a central zone of constant temperature. Mounted in the centre of the furnace is a drilled metallic insert supported by insulation pieces designed to minimize heat conduction.
A state of the art digital controller with up/down scroll set point is used to accurately control the temperature of the furnace.

Basic or site version
The TC1200 basic is a stable "true temperature reference". The unit incorporates a controller for setting the calibration point and indication of block temperature. To accurately read the true temperature, the sensor from an external thermometer is placed in the temperature well in parallel with the sensor being tested.

The TC1200 site is similar to the basic model, however, an additional digital indicator is provided which is connected to a reference sensor. This reference sensor is placed in the temperature well in parallel with the sensor being tested. The true temperature reading is taken directly from the display of the TC1200. By using an external reference sensor any calibration errors due to temperature gradients may be eliminated as the reference sensor will be placed at the same depth as the object being calibrated.
