A-scans of the both channels together with the
appropriate gates are simultaneously displayed on the screen. One
example is the application for rail inspection with a combined probe.
The other example is testing of hollow railway vehicle axles with boring
diameter from 30 to 80 mm (see Fig. 16 and 17).![]() ![]() |

The axle testing assembly (Fig. 16) is equipped with a
probe head fastened on bar provided with a scale. At one end of the
assembly bar is a handle and the DiO 562 connector. At the other end is
positioned the probe head, that may be skewed by means of a cardan
joint. The assembly bar is equipped with a scale indicating the probe
head position. The probe head is interchangeable because of the necessity using different probe angles from 450 to 700 (2 MHz) according to diameter of the inside boring. The signals of the both channels are displayed simultaneously on the DiO 562 two channel version. ![]() |
