Description: For the ultimate in weather monitoring, connect the Perception II, Weather
Wizard II-S, Weather Wizard III, or Weather Monitor II to your personal computer. The
WeatherLink data logger stores data--even when your computer is not running--until it is
transferred to your computer. Later, you can use the WeatherLink software to create
graphs, calculate totals and averages, generate summaries, analyze trends, and more--all
with your own weather database. Data may be exported to most popular database,
spreadsheet, and word-processing packages.
With the user-friendly software you can:
- See current conditions at a glance on the instant weather bulletin.
- Graph up all weather functions simultaneously on a daily, 3-day, weekly, monthly, or
yearly basis.
- Graph data from days, weeks, months, or years on the same screen.
- Track weather information from multiple weather stations on the same computer (using one
WeatherLink for each weather station).
- View information from the same weather station on two or more computers (using one Extra
User License Kit for each computer; kit includes license, manual, and software).
With the data storage and transfer features you can:
- Store data every 1, 5, 10, 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes; the data logger will store 1, 5,
10, 15, 30, 60, or 120 days' worth of data, depending upon the storage inverval.
- Transfer data from the data logger to your computer as often as you like to create your
own weather data base.
- Transfer data and clear highs and lows automatically each day (DOS version only;
software must be running).
Data transmission options include:
- Wireless transmission using a radio data link or cellular telephone.
- Transmission up to 7 miles (11 km) over dedicated wires using our Short-Range Modem
Pair.
- Transmission over the telephone lines using a modem capable of 2400 baud and our
Telephone Modem Adapter.
